About Bruce Brown

IMG_7569 copyHi there. I’m Bruce..

I was born in Rockland, Maine in the United States on December 15, 1946. I currently live in Leland, North Carolina with my wonderful wife Marge and our awesome dog Happy.

Marge and I met on a blind date in April 1970. We were engaged in 13 days and married four months later at the end of August.

Happy was bred and raised by friends in Florida. She is a Double Doodle (her mom’s a Golden Doodle and her dad is a Labradoodle).  She is a submissive female, which is a relief since our previous three dogs (one Pita Maltese and two wonderful Giant Schnauzers) were all dominant females. Happy turned two in July 2014 so she’s still a puppy but she’s easy to get along with, reasonably well-trained, and she loves to walk with me long and fast in the early AM – otherwise she’s a warm footstool while we read

I am a grateful human being and a very lucky guy.

Marge and I have three children and four grandchildren. Our kids are spread around the country, in Connecticut, Kentucky, and California. The closest is 700 miles from our current home in North Carolina. Because our kids are all over the place in the U.S., location-independence is a major factor in our life plan going forward.

Fortunately our business allows us complete freedom to be and work wherever we wish, as long as we have an Internet connection. Right now we have one residence, but our plan, which we are putting in motion in part through the Master Key Mastermind Alliance, is to have two primary residences – one in the Wilmington, North Carolina area and one in or near Portland, Maine, plus a pied-à-terre in West Hartford, Connecticut.

My Personal Pivotal Needs are Liberty and Helping Others. Note that these are my primary focus right now but it is only possible for me to have them in top position because of my strong love relationship with Marge and because we have autonomy in our lifestyle.
